Robert Warrington's birth and death dates are not known, but it is known that he lived and practised in Belfast for many years. He exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin, and in 1836, was a member of the Association of Artists when it was established. He painted 'Launch of the Aurora, the first passenger steamer built in Belfast, 1839'. He also painted a protrait of William Tennent of Belfast.
