Andrew Joseph McKenna (1833 - 1872):
Andrew McKenna was born in County Cavan. He moved to Belfast in 1862 as editor of the Ulster Observer. After a quarrel with Bishop Dorrian in 1868 he left the Observer and founded the second Northern Star, which ceased publication on his death in 1872. He wrote poetry. He died in Holywood, County Down and was buried in Friar's Bush cemetery, Stranmillis, Belfast.
