John McCreery (1768 - 1832):

John McCreery was born in Strabane, County Tyrone. He went to Liverpool, where he worked as a printer and became renowned for the high quality of his work. His poem, 'The Press', was printed and used as a specimen of his workmanship. He moved to London, where he continued to work as a printer. He died in Paris.
