William Hanna (1808 - 1882):
Cleric, Presbyterian and writer


William Hanna was born in Belfast, and was educated in Glasgow and Edinburgh and ordained in Scotland in 1835. He edited the North British Review and published, among other works in four-volume Life of Dr Chalmers. In 1852 he became Doctor of Laws and later Doctor of Divinity. He settled in Edinburgh and died in London.
