Thomas Croskery was born in Carrowdore, County Down, and was educated at Belfast Royal Academical Institution. He became a reporter and edited Banner of Ulster. He was ordained in 1860 and appointed Professor of Logic at Magee College, Derry, in 1875, and Professor of Theology in 1879. He wrote many articles and became Doctor of Divinity in 1883. He died in Derry.
