James Henderson Scott (1913 - 1970):

James Scott was born in Dundalk and was educated in Dundalk and at Methodist College, Belfast. From 1964 until 1970 he was Professor of Dental Anatomy at Queen's University, Belfast. His leading publication was his Introduction to Dental Anatomy, with Norman Barrington Bray Symons; he published as well Essentials of Oral Anatomy; Anatomy for Students of Dentistry (posthumously with David Derart Dixon); Studies in Facial Growth and Development of the Dentition; Studies in the Devlopment and Eruption of the Teeth; Dento-facial Development and Growth; and The Christian Vision.
