Edward Quigley was born in Killeevan, County Monaghan and ordained in 1897 as priest of Clogher. He contributed to theological and religious journals and wrote a number of religious works, including The Divine Office; A Book for Altar Servers; Ceremonies and Rights of Confirmation and the Visitation of Parishes.
