Joseph Molloy (1798 - 1877):

Joseph Molloy was appointed art master of the Belfast Academy in 1828 and master of the Belfast Academical Institution in 1830. He retired from this position in 1870. He was a member of the Association of Artists, founded in Belfast in 1836. He illustrated Belfast Scenery, which was published in 1832 by E. K. Proctor. The Ulster Museum have two of his sea-scapes and a portrait.
