Georgina Kyle was born in Craigavad, County Down. She was educated privately and at the Colarossi Studio in Paris. She travelled a great deal and exhibited in Paris, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool. In 1924 her work was in the Wembley Exhibition. She was a member of the Ulster Academy of Arts and from 1902 she ran the Belfast Art Society's Life Class. Her work is in the collection of the Ulster Museum, Armagh County Museum and Queen's University, Belfast
