Richard Armstrong (1815 - 1880): |
Richard Armstrong was born in County Armagh, and graduated in law at Trinity College, Dublin. He was called to the Bar in 1839 and in 1854 became Queen's Counsel. He served as member of parliament for Sligo from 1865 to 1868. Regarded as a brilliant advocate, he was involved in many celebrated cases.
