James Arbuckle (1700 - 1734): |
James Arbuckle is thought to have been born in County Down. Having qualified as a doctor of medicine in Glasgow, he became a teacher, poet and essayist, and ran the Dublin Weekly Journal. He published two collections of poetry, Snuff (1717) and Glotta (1721), and an essay on Swift, Momus Mistaken.
