Mary Andrews was born in Belfast. She was Honorary Secretary of the geological section of the Belfast Naturalists' Field Club and she contributed geological photographs to the British Association. Among her published works are The Early History of Magnetism; Dykes in Antrim and Down; Notes on Moel Tryfaen and Notes on Some Igneous Rocks in Antrim and Down.
