Betty Sinclair was a trade unionist and political campaigner. She was on of the organisers of the 1932 outdoor relief workers' strike. She was a former chairperson of the Civil Rights Association, and until her retirement in 1975, full-time secretary of the Belfast Trades Council. She was a founder member of the CPI.
