Walter Rusk (1910 - 1940):
Motor cycle racer


Walter Rusk was born in Belfast and was a motorcycle road racer. In 1934 he finished second in the European 350cc Champion-ship. He won two third places and won second place in the Isle of Man TT Race. In 1939 he was the first rider to lap the Ulster Grand Prix Circuit. He took part in the German and Swiss Grand Prix in 1935. At the start of the Second World War he became a pilot. He died of pneumonia.
