Phelim O'Neill ( - 1709): |
Phelim O'Neill was a Jacobite who took part in the siege of Derry. He also fought at the Battle of the Boyne, at Aughrim, and at Limerick. When Limerick capitulated, he went into exile in France with his regiment and was killed at the Battle of Malplaquet, fighting with the Irish Brigade.
