Patrick Boyle (1905 - 1982):
Patrick Boyle was born in Ballymoney, County Antrim, and was educated at Coleraine, County Londonderry. After a long career in the Ulster Bank, he published his first novel, Like Any Other Man. He afterwards published three collections of short stories: At Night All Cats Are Grey; All Looks Yellow to the Jaundiced Eye and A View from Calvary. The Port Wine Stain was a selected volume published in Dublin in 1983. He was a member of the Irish Academy of Letters.
